Privacy notice

Plain description of what PartyNow actually does (September 2026). It is not a legal review; have it checked against India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

Without an account

• Usage counts. We count pages and actions (a search, a save, a share) with a random id in a first-party cookie and a 30-minute session id. No IP address is stored, no third-party trackers, no session replay. Search words are only kept when a search finds nothing, with emails and numbers removed. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or you switch analytics off in Privacy choices, we count without any id.
• Location, only when you ask. Finding your city, sorting by distance and the “at a club?” prompt use your position in the moment. It is never stored or logged; for a crowd report we keep only how far you were from the venue. The “at a club?” prompt works only while the page is open. We don't track you in the background.

With an account

• Your email (verified by a sign-in link, or by Google if you choose Continue with Google: we ask Google only for your email address), or your mobile number if you signed up by SMS, and your confirmation that you're 21 or older.
• What you save, nights you say you're going to, reminders you ask for, your music and area choices, “not for me” choices and crowd reports.
• Separate choices, each off until you turn it on: offers by email; keeping your nights out (visit history, 90 days); linking your usage to your account; notifications on each device. Saving or saying you're going never turns any of them on.

How long we keep it

• Raw usage events and page counts: 90 days. Totals may be kept for 12 months.
• Visit history: 90 days, or until you clear it or switch it off (switching off deletes it).
• Sign-in links: consumed once, expire after 15 minutes, deleted within a day. Google sign-in attempts: used once, expire after 10 minutes, deleted within a day.
• Notification delivery records: 90 days.

Who sees it

Clubs never get your email, number or name. “Going” counts are totals only. Emails are sent through our email provider; notifications go through your browser's push service (Apple, Google or Mozilla), which only sees an encrypted message.

Your choices

Change any choice in Account, or Privacy choices in the footer. Deleting your account removes it with your saves, plans, reports, visit history, reminders, devices and any usage linked to it.
